Did you know?
1 in every 10 people in the United States do not know where their next meal is coming from... and over 9 million of those are children. Food pantries are often the life line they need. The top 3 items food pantries need are milk, eggs and fresh meat.
How does it work?
Harvest.
Legally harvest a deer. Good luck this season! We accept legally harvested deer processed by a LICENSED processor.
Call Ahead.
Email us at info@forestfeedingfamilies.com and let us know you have deer you would like to donate. Have the deer processed by one of the local processors below or at any other local, licensed deer processor. We will provide you a receipt as a 501c(3) charity as a donation and/or we can discuss reimbursement of your cost through donations provided by much appreciated donors.
Donate.
Once processing is complete, Forest Feeding Families will work with you to coordinate pick-up and will deliver the meat to our Food Pantry partners. Local families experiencing food insecurity will receive healthy protein to sustain their needs.
IT’S THAT SIMPLE (except the deer harvesting part…)!
Where to donate?
These are three of our processing partners.
Or use any licensed processor in your area and contact us.

Food Bank Partners
The DuPage Township Food Pantry has been the largest distributor of F3 donations. They are aligned with Feeding Illinois. These partners are excited about our mission! Likewise, we are humbled by what they do for our communities and we are excited to help. To quote the response we received during our first conversation, “We are in desperate need.” That says it all. Let’s support these great organizations!

Forest Feeding Families is a 501(c)3 not for profit organization dedicated to helping feed families in need while educating the public about the impact hunters have on conservation.
Our organization has provided over 3,000lbs of venison to local food pantries.
