Hunting is Conservation….
Introducing the F3 Ambassador Program!
Forest Feeding Families would not exist or have the resources to pursue its mission without the support of like-minded people in our community. Those who have the same passion to help feed families in need, further conservation education to help wildlife flourish and foster local businesses. This support comes in many different forms and at many different levels.
We are excited to share the launch of our new F3 Ambassador program. Purpose is to provide individuals an opportunity to take an active role in Forest Feeding Families (F3). Our Ambassadors will network throughout the community and generate support off F3 mission.
Ambassadors responsibilities will include:
Improve hunter recruitment
Network and build relationships with conservation and charitable organizations
Increase monetary donations to Forest Feeding Families
Provide deer donations
Community relationships
Each ambassador is nominated by a Board Member or current F3 Ambassador. Each candidate must be approved by the Board of Directors and sign an Ambassador Code of Ethics to ensure we uphold the highest integrity and principles. Our ambassadors are the “boots on the ground” representatives of Forest Feeding Families and we are honored to have them as an integral part of our organization.
The F3 Ambassador Team!

I pledge to follow and obey the Forest Feeding Families (F3) Ethical Code of Conduct stated below. I understand that any violation of this Code of Conduct could/will result in removal from the F3 Ambassador program.
As a member of the F3 Ambassador program I pledge that I understand and will comply with the following:
• I will comply with all designated Illinois hunting laws and regulations
o Always represent yourself and Forest Feeding Families, NFP as a law-abiding citizen in my community
• I will conduct myself as an ethical outdoorsman and hunter:
o Take only HIGH PERCENTAGE shots on animals.
o Track all wounded animals as far as humanly possible (legally!) before quitting.
o DO NOT trespass on any adjacent land that you do not have that landowner’s permission to track your current deer (old permission does not count).
• Safety is the most important consideration:
o Set up stand with absolutely nothing for 100 yards behind a shooting lane.
o If allowed to use climbing sticks, hang-on stands or climbing stands; ALWAYS have a safety harness on and utilize a safety rope from the ground up to the stand.
o Recover, dress and cool animal as fast as possible. Get to processor SAME DAY if possible. IMPORTANT: Only donate meat you would feed to your family!
• Follow all land-owner’s rules without fail:
o Only use landowner approved stands and climbing gear.
o DO NOT cut branches, trees or shrubs unless landowner approved.
o DO NOT leave any stands, cameras or gear on a property unless landowner approved.
o In the event of a angry neighbor or activist, do not engage, leave the area and contact both the land owner and your F3 ambassador liaison.
• Respect the mission and guidelines of Forest Feeding Families, NFP, and its members.
