Can I donate deer that is already processed?

If you have venison that was harvested recently and was processed by a licensed, authorized deer processing facility please reach out to us at info@forestfeedingfamilies.com. We can discuss options.

Is the venison processed by licensed butchers?

Yes, absolutely. Our processing partners are licensed and inspected by the state of Illinois.

How can I get involved beyond donating processed meat?

We desperately need monetary donations to fund the mission. Forest Feeding Families covers the cost of the processing and that adds up quickly. Every dollar matters. Hunter recruitment sustains our mission. Please reach out to hunters in your community and introduce them to Forest Feeding Families. This will help out outreach efforts.

Are you looking for volunteers to transport the meat to the Food Banks?
